Personally I’m not a fan of our political system. At best it’s inefficient, at worst it’s counterproductive to intelligent growth, building sustainable communities and even our very survival.
This view however has not stopped me from getting involved. In 2013 I ran as an independent candidate for the Stikine District at 23 years old. It was nerve wracking. In 2017 I ran again for the Nelson-Creston district. This was a great learning experience but I’ve decided that I will not run in 2021 without much needed support.
