I’ve been in Amsterdam for a bit over a week now and I’m loving this city and the massive bike culture that it supports. I’ve never experienced anything like it. It is so wild and can seem like complete chaos, yet it’s actually very organized and safe… No one here wares a helmet.
There are many more roads and parking spaces for bikes then for cars. It’s a beautiful thing. I’ll be riding everyday while I’m in the Netherlands. In this video I show off what some of these high density parking spaces look like and how they function. I also take you for a ride around Weesp.
